Privacy Policy

DriverYield helps US drivers estimate vehicle ownership costs. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the privacy promise behind the product.

Data We Collect

During beta, we may collect your email address, waitlist preferences, calculator inputs, vehicle details you provide, ZIP code, repair quote assumptions, cash offer assumptions, replacement payment assumptions, calculator feedback, trust scores, product usage events, and support messages. If the mobile app stores a VIN or account profile later, that data will be treated as personal information.

How We Use Data

We use data to provide cost estimates, improve the calculator, manage the beta list, respond to support requests, detect abuse, and prepare App Store compliance records.

Automated Estimate Support

DriverYield may use public vehicle data, ZIP-region fuel context, and automated decision rules to prefill estimates and explain ownership tradeoffs. These tools support the calculator; they do not create dealer offers, lender offers, insurance quotes, or guaranteed vehicle values.

Browser-Saved Decisions

If you save a calculator result to your private garage, that result is stored in your browser on that device. It is not sent to DriverYield unless you submit feedback, join the beta list, or use a future account-sync feature.

No Dealer Spam

DriverYield does not sell or share your contact information, VIN, or vehicle profile with dealerships unless you explicitly opt in to a dealer connection.

Service Providers

We may use hosting, analytics, database, email, vehicle data, fuel data, and marketplace-link providers to operate DriverYield. These providers process data only to help us run the service. External marketplace links open third-party sites whose privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your beta data by contacting privacy@driveryield.com. Beta emails include unsubscribe controls when email service is connected.

Children

DriverYield is intended for users 18 and older. It is not directed to children.
